How the in-home consultation works

You do not have a product problem. You have a design problem.

Maybe the sun pours in every afternoon and the room becomes unusable. Maybe you lost your privacy when the neighbors built up. Or maybe you just finished a remodel, put in new windows, moved into a new place, and now the coverings you inherited look wrong against everything else.

Most people respond by shopping for a product. They pick something from a catalog, order it, hang it, and it still looks off. That is not bad luck. Choosing a window covering without seeing it against your own walls, your own floors, and your own light is guessing.

We work the other way around. Our designer comes to your home with the samples and matches them to the room you are actually standing in. You see how the fabric reads in your light, next to your furniture, before anything is ordered.

Because we work with over a dozen manufacturers rather than one, we are not steering you toward whatever we happen to carry. Every window gets treated on its own terms, whether that is a custom shade, a retractable screen door, or an exterior power screen for the back patio. Motorized options you can run from your phone or schedule to the sun are what most of our clients are choosing now.

Design, measuring, and installation are all handled by our own in-house team, so the person who planned it is accountable for how it goes in. That is the white-glove part, and it is the part the big chains cannot do.

We are not the cheapest option in Orange County. We are the one homeowners choose when they want the result to look as good as the rest of the house.

The team was super friendly, had a large selection of colors and fabrics to choose from, and had great prices. We ordered 8 motorized blackout roller shades and couldn’t be happier with our new shades!!

Questions homeowners ask before booking

Is the consultation actually free, or is there a catch?

It is genuinely free and there is no obligation. Our designer comes out, brings samples, measures, and builds you a room-by-room plan. If you decide not to move forward, that is the end of it and you owe nothing.

Am I going to get a hard sell in my living room?

No. The appointment is a design consultation, not a pitch. Plenty of people book one, take the plan with them, and think about it for a few weeks. We would rather you got it right than got it fast.

How long does the appointment take?

Usually somewhere between forty-five minutes and ninety minutes, depending on how many rooms you want covered. If you are only doing one or two windows it is quicker.

Do I need to know what I want before you come out?

Not at all. Most people do not, and that is the reason the consultation exists. If all you can tell us is that a room is too bright or a window feels exposed, that is enough to start.

What areas do you serve?

We cover Orange County. If you are unsure whether you are in range, put your ZIP code in the form and we will tell you right away.

What does this typically cost?

It depends entirely on the window count, the products, and whether you want motorization, so any number quoted before seeing your home would be invented. What we can tell you plainly is that we are not the cheapest option in Orange County, and we do not try to be. You get a full quote after the consultation, with no obligation attached.

How long from order to installation?

Lead times vary by manufacturer and by product. Your designer gives you a realistic timeline at the consultation, before you commit to anything, rather than an optimistic one you find out about later.

Do you do the installation yourselves?

Yes. Design, measuring, and install are all in-house. We do not hand you off to a subcontractor, which is why the finished job matches the plan.
